I'm always prepared for a long day of walking when I go out to take pictures of cats. I usually walk between 15 to 20 kilometers. That day was no different. I was out walking and taking pictures when I saw him. He was lying on his side, not facing me. I pointed my camera at him and called out to him, but I never thought he would turn to look at me. He turned his head and looked me right in the eye. I was stunned. I quickly snapped a picture and left. I named him Nico.
